White Collar S3

White Collar S3
WC Team +USA Network
2011-2012

Fight or Flight-
After finding the treasure of a lifetime, a German U-boat filled with lost treasures from WWII. Mozzie & Neal try to work out a gameplan to get their goodies to a safe location. It then becomes a mission of mercy on both their parts to work together, and trust no one. Until a certain party breaks their foundation, that being the Burke’s. No longer just working buddies, they’ve become part of Peter & Elizabeth’s family circle. Filled with even more mysteries, this season changes everything you thought about the WC team.

Which side is Mozzie on? –
In a game of he said / she said, Mozzie doesn’t trust everyone he comes into contact with. Throughout seasons 1&2, we’ve learned that his vices are the perfect wine, distractions, and making the best getaway. Until his past comes back to haunt him, an old namesake from the past nearly cripples a friendship with interesting results.

Freedom or Walking away? -
Season 3 is all about the choices everyone within the team makes. Whether it’s the circle of thieves, to the FBI units within NYC (including the Cops!) But when it comes down to it, everyone has an agenda. Leaving the WC team getting over their own obstacles a challenge. And the biggest surprise comes to fulfill a request that might let a certain party go.

Is it real or fake?
Within season 3 there is a tremendous game of cat and mouse. With an art liason keeping their eyes on Neal’s body of work, to the lost treasures finding their way into other hands. The foundation that they’ve built just might crumble if they don’t work together. And its not just any trap, but one that involves even Neal, and Mozzie’s past (and the White Collar unit itself).

White Collar S2

White Collar S2
USA Network + Burn Notice Team
2010+2011

Season 2 of the hit show continues with the thief, agent and his team. But there’s one thing missing, hmm oh yeah missing pieces. Turns out that the thief’s life is coming back to take him once again. Old rivals, and some old buddies collide with his new life and career. What makes the dynamic work? Trust, lies, and lots of flow with one another. Although White Collar is a spin-off from Burn Notice, its actually gaining its own legs, and its own identity.

For fun, both shows roast one another, more like a commentary of working together. But they work so well, it’s like a sibling rivalry.

Story wise, quite different, S2 brings Neil onto a different path. No longer stuck to one thread, after the loss of his girlfriend and putting a puzzle together as to where it all fell apart. Burke and his crew have built a trust with Neal and his friends (and sometimes his enemies). Eventually leading to a family of odd couples, that become even closer when they need one another.

Extras include outtakes, cut scenes, the two part roast and more goodies.

Meet and Greet, and Run Away -
Enter the story of Neal Caffery, a world renowned art thief. Well known for his swift getaways, and love of beautiful women, and his heart. However he has been in jail for several years, thanks in part to being caught by an FBI Agent named Peter Burke. With time lost, its time to come up with a plan: how to obtain freedom.  (within 2.5 miles)

The Ticket: White Collar team
Once Neal adjusts to his new gig as liason to the crime team, he gains trust with Peter, and his wife Elizabeth. But he doesn’t work alone, his good buddy Mozzie (a conspiracy theorist + humble fellow). Alex: a cat burglar, who leaves no trace behind, and is quite lovely. June, a humble lady: with tales of the past, where people like Neal actually gained cred for helping others, and reputations with the neighborhood. Although Neal became a part of the team with compliance in his sentence, his true drive is to find Kate (the woman he left behind).  **this is just a small sample of how many people become part of his life in just one season**

Lost Something-
Being part of the crimes unit is not always about thieves nabbing treasures, but helping people regain their lost goods. Along the way Neal and Peter form a brotherhood type of bond. It becomes so solid, its almost unbreakable until things get in the way. No matter the obstacle, they somehow work through it all, and obtain what’s needed. But which side is Neal really on?

White Collar altogether is a fun, comedic, and action packed series. On the plus side, it doesn’t hurt that the Burn Notice crew also have it in high regard. If you haven’t seen this show, by golly go watch it.

We Bought A Zoo
2011 – Paramount + Zoo Productions

What would you do with a Zoo? Refurbish? Take the job and run away? Or become a part of something special? Matt Damon plays Benjamin Mee, a novelty writer for a local paper, being a columnist only pays so far. Given a choice, keep his family local, or job to go elsewhere. So with his youngest daughter, they find out that an open set of land that has yet to claim an owner.  This land turns out to be a Zoo, with a crew set and ready to go at a moment’s notice, including a collection of animals that were kept off the endangered species list.

With tools in hand, Ben sets out to fix this place up before opening the following summer. Finding friendship, and a bit more along the journey. This film is a delight and a must see for everyone. Never know what type of adventures are out there.

A Thousand Words
2012

If you were given a gift, would you? A) treat it with care, B) disown the item for something else, or C) walk away. Well Eddie Murphy plays a business mogul who pines from others, making deals and changing minds. Until he finds his open mind within a gathering of peace, and tranquility. Only one problem, he can’t himself without speaking literally. One such teacher offers a way to teach him a lesson of humility.  With one decision, every word counts when a guiding tree scratches him changing his aura altogether.

Sadly his life may never be the same, with work or his family (wife and young son). Trying to make his wrong decisions right, he only can use a thousand words.

I have honestly never seen Eddie Murphy in a film quite like this for some time. At times it’s a comedy, but also a drama, yet seems to rebound in all sorts of directions. There is so much range in the form of expression, whether its kindness, anger, frustration, or happiness.

Silent Hill Revelation

Silent Hill Revelation
2012 – Davis Films / Silent Hill II DPC

Taking place several years after the first film, Harry and Heather find a place to call home. But now the shadows continue to chase them wherever they go. Finding a safe haven has been their mission from day one. But every time Heather dreams, she finds out her nightmares are about to come true. Unlocking her past, and present are all locked away within her dreams.

Silent Hill’s origins date back to many generations ago. However those legends hold many dark secrets. What made this series work in its videogame form, is that players were allowed to explore various pathways. Choose either A, B, or C and you’ll find out where those choices lead. In Heather’s case, its all up to her conscience that guides her to the goal.

With various hidden music cues throughout, the soundtrack is amazing. Those who loved the series will definitely enjoy some of the bgm tracks, oh and stay for the credits. Enough said.

Will there be a 3rd incarnation? Wait and see.
